Duties of the court
The Kings, Queens, Princes and Princesses will have some required duties during the year of their reign. If a contestant is a competitor in one of these events, then their prince or princess can attend in their place.
Event Attendance Requirements:
4-H Sign-up Night
All Royalty Program Meetings and Competition Dates
4-H Jamboree in June
Camas Rodeo (on foot or horse is okay)
Camas 4-H Demonstrations contests
Camas County Fair Horse Show
Camas County Fair Dog & Rabbit Shows
Camas County Livestock Show & Auction
Camas County Fair Parade - All Royalty to ride on the Royalty float
At least one Camas Fair Board Meeting During Reigning Year
4-H Awards Night
(Additional events may be added to this list)
Note: Duties at events may include being the Master of Ceremonies, talking with small and large groups of people, handing out awards and having photos taken with the winners. Royalty will be representatives of Camas County and dress and deport themselves accordingly. More specific details are available in the program rules.
